The Einhell repair service
At Einhell, we always pay attention to the high quality and safety of our tools, but it is still possible that a defect may occur despite thorough checks. So that you can continue working on your workshop and garden projects as quickly as possible, we will support you wherever we can.
Complaints in the event of a warranty claim
If you discover a defect within the warranty period of your device, you can make a complaint of your device. Then you can simply send the item back to us via our repair service. We also offer a collection service for large and bulky devices. Both services are available online. For all valid complaints within the warranty period*, our service is completely free of charge and includes all costs associated with collection, return delivery, repair and replacement costs.
Repair for out-of-warranty devices
We also offer our practical repair and returns service for devices that are no longer within the warranty period. After checking your item, you will receive a cost estimate for the repair of your device in advance. The costs incurred for collection or dispatch will be charged to you together with the repair costs.
- The warranty is only considered valid if all requirements as defined in the warranty conditions are met.
- Damage caused by improper use, including accidental damage caused by stones, sand or dust, the use of force or other external influences, as well as use in commercial environments, is not covered by the warranty conditions.
- We reserve the right to return the device to you if, after inspection, we determine that there is no fault. In this case, we will charge you for the costs of logistics and inspection. The customer service team will inform you about this process.
Step by step to repair your device
Register or log in as a guest
If you already have a MyEinhell account, simply log in with your login details. If you don't have a user account yet, you can register now or simply log in as a guest.
Submit a repair request
To request a repair, you need to fill in a form with your personal details. Search for the device you want to make a complaint about in our system using the serial number or item number and register it in your request. You then provide further information about the purchase price and date of purchase and describe the problem why you want to make a complaint about the item.
Returning an item
After registering, pack the item and send it back to us. Alternatively, we can also organise a collection for you if it is a larger or bulky item. We will keep you informed about the status of your repair request.
